A Sad Farewell - A New Beginning All Hallows Guild announces with sadness that after nearly eight decades, the custodianship of the Herb Cottage will transfer back to Washington National Cathedral. This has been a trying time while the Cottage on South Rd. has been closed for repairs and the Cathedral Chapter and PECF Trustees explore the possibilities of using the century old building for a cafe. We wish to thank the Washington community for their long-time support and assure our friends and supporters that while we are disappointed, we are looking to the future with optimism. The Guild will carefully explore relocating to another location on the Cathedral Close that will retain the same charm of the original Herb Cottage.
As you know, the Cottage has opened an annex shop in the B-2 level of parking garage. Come see us - we have all the same wonderful gifts and new spring offerings. (Open 10-5 daily) For information, read more>.
