Inspiration from the Outdoors at the Washington National Cathedral

An exhibition of original works by artists of the Cathedral Community and the Botanical Art Society of the National Capitol Region
April 15 through May 17, 2023

All Hallows Guild presents the work of 27 artists from the Cathedral community and the Botanical Art Society of the National Capital Region.  These 44 images express the spirit of the Guild’s mission to celebrate the natural world and preserve and beautify the natural environment of the Cathedral Close.  We are delighted with the variety of subject matter and styles, from traditional and contemporary botanicals to woodland scenes; from far afield to our own Cathedral Close landscape and the majestic building itself. Artists have employed a diversity of media including watercolor, oil, colored pencil, pen and ink, lino print, fine art photography, and even a shadowbox. We are grateful to the accomplished artists who have brought this abundance of inspiration from the outdoors for us all to celebrate.
