SPONSORED BY ALL HALLOWS GUILD TO BENEFIT THE GARDENS AND GROUNDS OF THE WASHINGTON NATIONAL CATHEDRAL

Upon the completion of this contract (and required payment) by the RETAILER, space will be reserved at the 2027 Flower Mart for the RETAILER, subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth.

Flower Mart 2027 Vendor Contract

  • Upon the submission of this contract by December 15, 2026, and required payment by the RETAILER, space will be reserved at the 2027 Flower Mart for the RETAILER, subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth. 1. To be valid, full payment of the Gift Vendor Invoice – including a nonrefundable and nondeductible registration fee, required tent fees, and any table and chair rental fees – must be paid when contract is submitted. 2. To pay ALL HALLOWS GUILD FLOWER MART 20 % of all gross sales made by the RETAILER during the days of FLOWER MART, to include orders placed during FLOWER MART for subsequent delivery. Gross sales are total sales excluding tax. Such amount shall be paid by the RETAILER at the close of FLOWER MART on Saturday, May 8, 2026. Gross sales shall be determined by the submission of a daily sales log in a format approved by All Hallows Guild. 3. To collect from every customer the correct amount of DC sales tax. Each RETAILER is responsible for payment of DC Sales Tax directly to the DC Government. 4. To guarantee that all orders for merchandise shall be filled within 30 days of the FLOWER MART unless other arrangements are agreed to by a customer and/or said customer is given prompt notice of the RETAILER’S inability to do so, upon which the customer will have the option to cancel the order without further obligation. 5. To set up and complete arrangements for the display and sale of merchandise by no later than 8:00 A.M. on the Friday of FLOWER MART, to remain in operation continuously during the hours the FLOWER MART is open, to have sufficient merchandise for sale and to promptly remove all merchandise, equipment, property and trash by no later than 8:00 pm on Saturday, May 8, 2027. 6. To provide merchandise agreed upon with the FLOWER MART COMMITTEE and to remove promptly any item from sale or display at the sole discretion of the Committee. 7. To obtain and carry adequate comprehensive general liability, fire, theft, personal liability, workers’ compensation and all other insurance required to fully insure against loss by RETAILER. ALL HALLOWS GUILD FLOWER MART will not be responsible for any losses to RETAILER’S property or person from any source including but not limited to weather, fire, theft, burglary, shoplifting, or loss of business. 8. To indemnify and hold harmless ALL HALLOWS GUILD FLOWER MART, their respective representatives, agents, officers and employees and the PROTESTANT EPISCOPAL CATHEDRAL FOUNDATION from any loss, expense, claims, damages, cause of action, injuries, suits, or damage to person or property, and attorney’s fees, arising out of or related directly or indirectly to the setting up, dismantling or operation of the RETAILER’S booth during FLOWER MART. 9. To set up booth according to the final Equipment Sheet as approved by FLOWER MART COMMITTEE. No changes may be made to equipment or booth placement. 10. It is agreed and understood that if, for any reason, FLOWER MART or any part or contract thereof must be canceled for any reason, at the sole discretion of the FLOWER MART COMMITTEE, RETAILER’S registration fee will be refunded as soon as practicable, and neither ALL HALLOWS GUILD FLOWER MART, nor the PROTESTANT EPISCOPAL CATHEDRAL FOUNDATION will be liable to RETAILER for any loss, incidental, consequential, special or otherwise that RETAILER may incur by reason of said cancellation. 11. In the event that the RETAILER elects to cancel their participation in FLOWER MART, the RETAILER forfeits their registration fee, and their tent fee will only be refunded if FLOWER MART is able to contract with a suitable alternate vendor. Cancelation made by the RETAILER less than 60 days prior to the first day of Flower Mart will result in forfeiture of all fees paid. 12. This Contract is subject to the approval of the FLOWER MART COMMITTEE and All Hallows Guild. FLOWER MART AGREES TO THE FOLLOWING: 1. Provide space for RETAILER (Location at the sole discretion of the FLOWER MART). 2. Provide access to one electrical outlet for each RETAILER. RETAILER must utilize their own UL- approved exterior extension cord. 3. Widely publicize FLOWER MART and list RETAILER on the program or map. 4. This agreement may not be terminated or assigned by the RETAILER without the prior written consent of ALL HALLOWS GUILD FLOWER MART. Flower Mart 2027 Fees include: a. 10 x 10 Tent, Registration Fee $150, Tent Fee $560.00 b. 10 x 20 Tent, Registration Fee $200, Tent Fee $1000.00 c. 10 x 30 Tent, Registration Fee $300, Tent Fee $1500.00 d. Table Rental, $20 per table e. Chair Rental, $5 per chair 3. All payments must be received when contract is submitted.

WHO WE ARE

All Hallows Guild was founded in 1916 to provide for the care and beautification of the grounds of Washington National Cathedral. The Guild works closely with the horticultural staff to preserve this historic landscape and raises funds for renovation and renewal of the gardens.
