The Bishop’s Garden was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted Jr. and All Hallows Guild member Florence Brown Bratenahl in the 1920s. The garden incorporates aspects of a medieval garden – in keeping with the Gothic style of the National Cathedral. The three-acre garden includes two perennial borders, three herb gardens (including a 9th century styled monastics garden), and an extensive rose garden in bloom from May to November.

Bishop’s Garden tours are led by All Hallows Guild docents from April through October. Reservations are required for group tours. Please use the form below to request a tour.

We request a $10.00 per person donation by check payable to All Hallows Guild or by online donation with a credit card. Email questions to: gardentours@allhallowsguild.org.
