Our annual festival held to benefit Gardens and Grounds of Washington National Cathedral
All Hallows Guild has hosted Flower Mart since 1939. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, this Washington, DC springtime tradition was canceled 2020 and 2021.
On May 6 and 7, 2022, Flower Mart will emerge afresh, vibrant and exciting after its two-year hiatus, to include the famous antique carousel, tours of the cathedral towers, dozens of vendors, carnival games for the children, an astounding White Elephant sale, and of course, many flower and plant sales.
Planning for the next Flower Mart will begin in the fall of 2021. We encourage those who would like to volunteer to fill out our Volunteer Form.

During the closing of the Cathedral during the COVID-19 pandemic, the gardens and grounds remained open and thriving, but the cancellation of Flower Mart, our major annual fundraiser for the gardens, has significantly impacted our revenue. Donations to All Hallows Guild will assist in the maintenance of the gardens and can be made using the following link.
All Hallows Guild's antique carousel has been a favorite of the young and young at heart for decades. It dates from the late 1800's and is one of only two surviving carousels manufactured by the U.S. Merry-Go-Round Corporations. The carousel was purchased by the Guild in 1963 and we continue to restore and refurbish this historic treasure.
We had planned to introduce our new "Into the Woods" coloring book at Flower Mart 2020. It celebrates the Olmsted Woods - the five-acre woodland on the grounds of Washington National Cathedral. For now you can get a sneak peek at the book by downloadeing a coloring page. We plan to formally issue the full coloring book at our next Flower Mart. Use the link below to download and print your coloring page. We would love to see your finished work, so post it on social media and tag us @allhallowsguild.
In 2006, the first “Flowers Around the World” exhibit was held in the magnificent nave of Washington National Cathedral. Washington Embassies, their ambassadors, and their floral designers contributed to the creation of gorgeous displays in the bays that run the length of the great hall. The International Floral Display has grown to become one of Flower Mart's favorite attractions. You can revisit the Flower Mart 2019 display via YouTube by clicking the link below.
During the February 3, 1939 meeting of the All Hallows Guild Executive Committee the idea of having a Flower Mart on the Pilgrim Steps was proposed. To read about our humble beginnings go to our blog.
