Support Flower Mart

Since 1939, Flower Mart has been a celebrated event in Washington, DC, drawing huge crowds to support the glorious gardens and grounds of the Washington National Cathedral. This year, we are pleased to announce Flower Mart 2024 will be held on Friday, May 3 and Saturday, May 4. Our theme will reflect the joy of springtime, the spirit of renewal, and our optimism about our community.

Flower Mart is All Hallow Guild’s annual fundraiser for the Cathedral gardens and grounds. Your generosity through the pandemic helped us continue our work. This year we focused on the conservation of the Bishop’s Garden’s medieval stonework, held a Garden Day celebration in September, and continued to identify and fund work throughout the Cathedral Close. It will remain a haven of peace and a source of inspiration for all of those who visit.

We earnestly hope to make Flower Mart 2024 the biggest event we have ever had! Returning to the Cathedral grounds will be our ever-popular historic carousel and children’s rides and games, including the beloved puppet show and the Cathedral tower climb. New this year will be a petting zoo. The Mart will feature numerous offerings from Premier Plants, unique gifts from a variety of vendors, spectacular entertainment, festival food, and an international floral exhibit. This event truly has something for everyone.

Your patronage is a crucial part of this wonderful tradition. All Hallows Guild appreciates your dedication and participation. Thank you for your generous and continued support of AHG, and we look forward to seeing you at Flower Mart!

Patrons who support Flower Mart at the $500 level and above will receive an invitation to the Flower Mart 2024 Opening Ceremony on Friday, May 3.

If your donation is received by April 1, your name will appear in the Flower Mart 2024 program.

All Hallows Guild was founded in 1916 to provide for the care and beautification of the grounds of Washington National Cathedral. The Guild works closely with the horticultural staff to preserve this historic landscape and raises funds for renovation and renewal of the gardens.
