Opportunity for Students
The current digital generation often needs encouragement to explore outdoor spaces. Opportunities for self-exploration in quiet solitude and also for discoveries of interconnectedness, both human and ecological, take effort.
To develop the next generation of botanists, landscape architects, conservationists, and general environmental scientists, All Hallows Guild will offer three DC students, from STA, NCS, and DCPS, grants of $1000 to pursue study in related fields. These awards can be used to take a summer course, to explore the outdoors, or to cover expenses for a non-paid environmental internship. Award winners’ reflective essays at the conclusion of their experiences will be featured in All Hallows Guild’s quarterly newsletter to its numerous members.
